The overall time we had guests – bear in mind at the moment? – that’s what I made for dessert.


Inside the freezer I had among the pretty red rhubarb from our adventure to the Wakefield Rhubarb Pageant ultimate month.  I decided to make a easy the unsuitable method up cake with it, using the recipe for the recent pineapple cake which you can see proper right here.



The cake was once actually intended to be just a rhubarb the unsuitable method up cake then again after I arranged the fruit over the ground of the tin it was once obvious that there were too many gaps.  In consequence I stuffed throughout the gaps with some raspberries, about part a punnet that I already had throughout the refrigerator.  (We put raspberries or blueberries on our porridge maximum mornings so continuously have some in.)  Rhubarb and strawberries are a fit made in heaven so I imagined that rhubarb and raspberries may well be similarly excellent too.



It was once in reality delicious and a mix I will indisputably use yet again.  Instead of the remaining, it was once a very good colour!
